Day trip to the IMLIL Valley and Lake Lalla Takerkoust
You will leave Marrakech towards the mountains of the High Atlas . Some small villages follow each other between large areas planted with olive trees, separated by vegetable barriers, fig trees of barbarism. At first you will visit the dam Lalla Takerkoust then the huge Plateau Kik with landscapes as far as the eye can see. The view is very beautiful and varies according to the seasons (snowy peaks in winter, fruit trees in bloom in the spring …) Then you will go to the Imlil valley , (starting point for many hikes to the summit of Toubkal which is the highest peak in Africa). Lunch can be taken at homestay, where you can enjoy a local tagine.
The afternoon will be devoted to hiking by going to the national park of Toubkal to circus Aremd (formed by a former glacier) then descent along the torrent Mizane in the shade of walnut trees. Return to Marrakech around 16:00 hours.
